thanks ive now scanned 3 times and each time a few more channels have been added, but guess which one hasnt appeared? Yep Brith shorts

Hmmm ill keep scanning if anyone has the manual details id appreicate it.

You should be able to order channels by frequency- Brit Shorts should appear next to 10510 (ITV HD). If you choose to order channels by category, it may appear in Arqiva rather than BSkyB.

Hi guys,

I'm off to bed,

Good news is I have implemented sky's LCN's and will release a TSWriter in the morning. I need to tweak it so you can choose your location within the UK.
I will create a SQL update that will modify your Tuner Details. This is so the ChannelID can be stored. This will speed up the EPG grab in future. The Categories will be implemented too. This will need a little tweak too.

I will upload something in the morning as I am knacked.

Right after re-scanning several times brit short tv appeared in my list so i added that as per the epg grabber instruciotns from th e1st post of this thread and when i force an update in the manual tab of TV server config it is trying to grab the epg.

However, i notice that in the dialogue box it says its accessing diva tv which is weird i think.

i look at the settings posted earlier in this thread for the correct settings and am having trouble making head or tail of the various readings. i have for a screen shot of the Brit short config screen but am not able to upload it at this moment as i presume i have to put the picy on the net somehwere before adding the link here?

However the boxes to poputlate in the edit box for the channel and values entered are as fiollows:

Clealry there are some values mentioned here which i havent set but im struggling to work out where to put them or indeed if theyre necessary variables to set?

Any ideas?

Edit incidentally i just clicked on the preview button and the screen shows brit shorts tv log in the top right corner of the screen so perhpas its not the actuall config of the station as i thought.

I have just tried to use mp to look at tv and for some reason its not actually playing tv stations just giving an image like i have asked it for a screen shot. so i need to investigate further and report back.

Hold all thouse thoughts, apart from a frozen pictutre i now have a populated EPG.

I did correct one value based on the info put up by prupert so that seems to have fixed the grabbing of the epg data, now all i have to do is get a moving tv picture.

Edit for info the MP is now plasying as expected i reinstalled the dvbfix update which i suspect i didnt redo adter the reinstall of mp last night.
