SkyStar 2 and WinFast DTV 1000T (2 Viewers)

The asus card is BDA.
I rember I installed an official patch for dvb from m$ on xp sp2, but I've never copyed files manually.

As said above the Skystar is WDM, the mycinema is both DVB and anlogue. Theres only one BDA card there so it wont effect you.

Without them, no, it wont work. It never did. The files arent being distributed by MP so theres no problem with it being done by a user.

no need - today they promote MCE2005 as the media desktop (in other words, if you want to have multiple tuners etc. you must have THAT OS) and for "tomorrow" vista is getting ready

so why patch xp? they just don't care (plus they might sell a few more MCE2005 for that)

I wonder though how double DVB cards DO get over this thing (like FlyDVB Trio that has analog + DVB-S + DVB-T, and both DVB parts are under tha BDA driver) - AFAIK they don't require MCE.

(I don't think both DVB tuners can work at the same time but anyway the card does seamlessly switch)
