Hey Guys,
I'm using MP for about a year now and thanks again to all devs/testers/users.
Due an Harddisk crash I had to do a new installation, so RC1 came out, why not?

to put it Short: I've still problems with my Technisat Skystar 2

When using 4.4.0wdm or 4.4.3wdm beta drivers following strange issue appears:

Every second channel switch doesn't work. EDIT: wrong!

The logs should shows shows the following actions
- turning on TV
- ARD works fine
- ZDF 2 secs video then video/sound hangs (normal channel change possible)
- RTL fine
- Sat.1 3 secs then hangs like ZDF
- Pro7 fine
- rtl2 nothing at all
- Pro7 after disabling/enabling tv fine
- rtl2 2 secs -> standard hang
- kabel 1 Fine
- Vox nothing
- DSF Fine
- HR Nothing

Preview at TV server conf works perfect on every channel!

My last (lost) configuration worked fine, but I used the 4.4.1 beta BDA driver. But this driver is gone with my harddisk. If someone can find/ upload it that would be awsome. I allready contacted Technisat, but Im waiting for an answer.

The 4.4.1 stable BDA driver causes the failure that it coudlnt always reactivate the TV and I have to restart the PC. Also planned recordings were not recorded therefore.
Please help! I'd love to go on with my plugin..

EDIT: Switching Sound/Videos Decoders doesn't help :/

I was wrong! Its not every 2cnd time.. its just random but a bit like every second channel. Sometimes one works and sometimes it doesn't.
At Client Computers it is the same behaviour.

But I have to say, that I had this problem with previous MP Versions and these wdm drivers too, so maybe its just an hardware error and I have to get a new/different TV Card.

Is there one out which is almost 100% stable? Which you would say: "Best TV Card ever for MP"

Or 4.4.1 BDA Beta drivers for Skystar 2 ne1?

OMG!!! After closing the Server4PC Programm from Technisat everything works with 4.4.3 beta wdm. Damn.. that took a time.

what are you saying that you scanned with the Server4PC and turn it off for watching TV ?

or are you able to scan without it ?

I did nothing with the server4pc, its just installed with the technisat dvbviewer software/ wdm driver and after installing it is in the autorun.

When Server4PC was running I faced those Problems with channel switching/lags in Mediaportal. The Technisat DVB Viewer didn't show those errors. After I had closed the Server4PC Mediaportal worked nice here!

Channel scanning with the TVServer also worked when the Server4PC was running I think.
