SleepControl plugin v1.10.0 for MediaPortal 1.3.0 and higher (4 Viewers)

Are you trying to reboot your pc at a certain time?

Yes. So I tried to choose "Reboot" in the Timer tab. But in the morning the HTPC is shutdown instead. These are my setting for trying to get the HTPC to restart every day at about 5AM:

If yes I suggest to try the ps++ which has the reboot functionality as well...

The following error appears in mediaportal if the htpc resumes from hibernate or standby. is there any solution for this annoying

I got a problem with MP 1.7 and SleepControl 1.5.0. The dialog where you can select the time until your HTPC shuts down doesn't show up and instead it always behaves like the checkbox for the 'Hide sleection dialog...' is ticked but it isn't. Its the red surrounded setting in the screenshot below. Are logs helpful? Can anyone else confirm this?

I've tried to reproduce the behavior with your settings (but with another alphanumeric key) and change some minor code parts of the quick activation handling.
Could you please test the attached version if your requirements are fullfilled now?

I did a short test and the selection dialog shows up now again. Need to do some more testing over the weekend but for now everything looks fine!

To clarify.. this was the dialog I wasn't able to get to show up in the previous version but is working fine now.

I got the same error with SleepControl 1.5.2.0 and 1.5.1.0.

for me it seems that you try to shutdown MediaPortal during recordings are running.
That's not more than a presumption, because I do not have any log files from your MediaPortal installation or event log snippets from Windows. Please provide these files and a list of steps to reproduce. After that I'm able to analyse the issue and to find out, if it's a MediaPortal problem or a plugin error.
