Linux MCE uses flickr slideshows as a menu backdrop; Is there a way to use them or possibly a Video (stored locally) for a menu background and jsut have the menu items pop-up when needed?

I think Vista Ultimate has a moving wallpaper thingy (technical term!) and looking at the LinuxMCE menu it looks pretty good, can it be done with what we have at the minute?

I've played with timing interval on the background pictures to get something similar but just wondering..

the skin "Aeon wide" has a similar feature, but very limited and uses a bit more resource.
I also loved linuxMCE picture slide show (Pan & Zoom transition effects)

the closest program that does that is Google Photos screensaver.

if MediaPortal team puts Pan & zoom transition in to the slide show option, that would a great start.
