SlimTV, Live TV and TSReader.ax (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I am a long time user of MP and decided to try the MP 2.0. I am currently using MP 1.8 without issues (including watching Live TV)

Now I can't play a tv recording or watch Live TV.

I already registered TSReader.ax from MP2, copied the older one over the new one and nothing.
I already reinstalled VC 2010 SP1 too.

I am out of options. Any idea?

I think this is the same issue:

I manage to get it working with Windows Update. It installed update for VC redistributable 2010, And the TV begins to work after that. It means that the official VC resistributable 2010 do not suffice, we need to run windows update after to get VC update.

No more '' There is no player registered to play media item 'stream3.0' ''

Also check the "requirements" section of wiki (linked in release notes!)

Hi Morpheus,

Clean reinstall of W7. After Windows Update everything is working (as noted, only the install of VC2010 SP1 is not enough).
