Synopsis:
(Long time to start MyTV from home screen - takes about 27secs before watchable)
Long time to change channels - approx 20secs. This log (above) 'snippet' is when changing channel.

ALt-Enter to go from full screen to restore in MyTV locks up Mediaportal - still sound, but picture frozen. Also, if you have been into MyTV at all, then go back to the Home screen, trying to restore draws the 'restored' frame, but then goes back to full screen.
Log below is when trying to "restore" from full screen - this message continues until MediaPortal is closed.

Do you get the same behaviour when you use the MediaPortal "defaults" of the BlueTwo skin, and the DScaler video and audio decoders?

Yep, just tested. Makes no difference when I change skin or decoders.

I get exactly the same problem with the slow channel changing. Brand new XP Home install with Dvico FusionHDTV card.

I found that if I had timeshifting off then the channel changes were back to about 3 seconds or so, not fast but not bad. Also, without timeshifting I occassionally lost the ability to change channels in fullscreen or window mode with the channel up/down buttons. Displayed the EPG, but the channel did not change. I could change channels from the menu no problems each time.

I have similar issues with Haupague HVR1300. Alt-Enter works unless you are in TV mode. Picture will disappear, mouse will no longer function over the application etc. Always been like this since RC3 when I first had a go with media portal, still the same with latest CVS build.

Hi

No change in behaviour for RC4. Problem still exists after a clean install (uninstalled, wiped programs, cleaned registry, installed from scratch).

exactly the same problem for me...
i cannot leave full screen mode when watching TV.
i hear a windows sound, like an error message, but i cant see it.

in main menu for example, there are nor problems with full screen mode...

Synopsis::

When maximizing or minimizing when running the TV module only, display does not redraw at all, TV picture disappears. Media Portal appears to freeze but you appear to still be able to control it (you can hear the right sounds when pressing appropriate keys). Still the screen never gets updated. You can alt-F4 out of the app. If there are no TV card drivers installed then there are no problems (although all you get is the usual warning message).
