I didn't get a chance to try TVE3 again tonight, but I investigated the source of the delay in MyTV instead.

As you pointed out, the DVBGraphBuilder struggles. It takes 5 seconds to execute _mediaControl.Run() in DVBGraph.cs [StartTimeShifting(TVChannel, string)].

Is this really related to the DVICO drivers, or can this be improved? I am happy to have a look at it if someone gives me a pointer [I am a software engineer]. Otherwise, the waits for the tuner locks were all under 2 seconds in my tests.

I think I need to delve into the code a little deeper, as I'm intermittently seeing long delays even in TVE3.

The delay to the RunGraph is sometimes around 4 seconds, but I wonder what that delay is... as obviously many people don't have a delay there...

The concern to me is the delay to the "RunGraph: already running", which was another 6 seconds, and is always around that time... I don't really understand what it is doing, as why does it take 6 seconds to find out that the graph is already running (perhaps it is just a wording thing...)
