I´ve just done a fresh install of Winows Vista on my HTPC and reinstalled Media Portal. So far most things seem ok except TV channel changes. On selecting a program from the TV guide or pressing the up/down channel button, it takes approx. 24 seconds before the selected channel appears. I had no issues when using XP Pro.

Any ideas where I should look?

First of all, please run MP in Debug mode (start menu) and then post the logs here. 2nd : why Vista? (just kidding, you probably have the license for it).

Without logs, Debugging is more than hard

Ok, I'll post logs at the weekend when I get home.

As for Vista - you're right, it's just because I have a spare licence for it so thought I would use it for my HTPC.
