Slow down drive speed?! (1 Viewer)

Hi,

is there any function in MP 1.0 to slow down the drive speed of my DVD Drive?
It spinns at a very high rate and it is very noisy.

Software like Nero DiscSpeed can slow down, but it is another part of extra Software on my HTPC.
I thought i saw a feature like max. read-speed or something in Mediaportal Config any time, but I cant find it anymore.

Is there a feature built in in MP 1.0? Or do I have to install a third party software?

The inbuilt speed reducer was unreliable, and nobody could fix, so it was removed from MP, as you say Nero DriveSpeed is a free utility that does the job well and has been proven to not be a resource hog.
