    Hi guys,

Just had a first quick try at MP2.
I installed it on an Asus Vivo Smart tab and it seems to be running at a much slower frame rate than MP1.
Is there anything I can do about that? Can I get MP1 and MP2 framerate somehow?

Here are the specs from this tablet:

Interestingly CPU usage is low but so is FPS and responsiveness. In the setting for instance it take 3 seconds for the cursor to move from one item to the next.

    Hi.
Can not tell anything about MP2 on a Tablet as I prefer Android on Tablets.
But in general MP2 needs much less CPU and the responsiveness is a lot better than MP1.
About FPS. The FPS is low in Home menu as long as no action is needed. It will increase if necessary.

    Edit:
The Touch support is rather new. Maybe this is not that polished now. But only @morpheus_xx can answer this as he wrote it.

What worrying is that MP1 flies and MP2 lags...
Then definitely something went wrong. MP1 needs at least 5 times as much "horse power" than MP2 to "fly"... Earlier I had a Intel Core2Duo system on that MP1 really was sloooow and MP2 was faaaaast. Only since I'm using an Core i5 I can use MP1 smoothly...

I attached some screenshots of my tablet (Acer Switch 10)

The rendering performance is indeed not as good as expected and I have no idea whats the cause is... For my setup the skin resolution is higher that display resolution (1080 vs 720).

If you compare Titanium vs Defaut skin you see big differences in fps: 37 vs. 100 fps in home screen with MAX PERFORMANCE mode.
One cause for differences: Titanium uses more bitmaps and Opacity masks. The later require doubled rendering per control. If you use a lot of oit, this sums up.

You can enable renderstats only via key F10, toggle render modes by F11. So for touch only this is not optimal. I'll add a screen where you get buttons to do the same.

Edit: in default skin the GPU load stays around 50% even in max performance mode

Note: "Titanium" is preselected skin. But there is a "Default" skin which is the base (or "mother") of all skins :)

Can you make the same tests and post screenshots?

By 'default' I meant whichever one was preselected.

I'm travelling back to Germany today. I'll try do that while on the Paris-Frankfurt train :)
