Can you try the latest directx update (8-2008), may help.

512mb of ram is on the low side, what graphics does your setup use.

Yes, I can do an directx update, but I don't think that's a rendering problem.
My suspicion is a slow database. In the past there was some MP builds, where the MySQL Database slow down the EPG.

All other menus are ok.

I use a GeForce FX5200 with 128MByte

This issue may be related to mine on the RC3 release.

I have proved that it is not a case of the MySQL database being slow because I can duplicate the problem from a remote client using RC3 but it works fine if the remote client is running RC2.

I installed SVN20268 MediaPortal on the client - no change - EPG still fast.
Then I installed the SVN20268 TV Client as well - EPG is back to a crawl like the new RC3

So it appears to me that one of the RC2 TV Client SVNs has a bug carried over to RC3

Yes, the RC3 has still the same issue.

The CPU Load of MediaPortal is about 60% if I have opend the EPG.
If I scroll down one Line, the CPU Load of mysqld-nt.exe is about 40% for 4 seconds. So total 100% CPU Load!
