Slow video playback (1 Viewer)

Hey everyone,

I've been having a problem with all of my videos\movies. Whenever I goto play one, mediaportal will just sit there for about 30 seconds, frozen. Then the movie will play fine from there. Once it's playing, if I try to advance ahead (5\15\30 seconds, etc) it will random freeze on the frame it was on before I advanced, but the audio will keep going. Eventually, the video portion will resume and it will work fine from there, unless I try to advance again. This is only a problem I have in Mediaportal, nothing else.

Any ideas?

Some information about your system, what format of video it is etc. ... that kind of information would be really helpful. Logs would be even better:

Follow the instructions for reproducible problems, and when it comes to the part about reproducing the problem, play a video for a minute or two with a few skips thrown in for good measure.
