When I open up Moving Pictures, and start to scroll through the movies (in list view), it scrolls just fine to start. But, each time I press Page Down on my remote to go down to the next page of movies, it takes a little bit longer. When I get down past the 700 movie mark, it takes upwards of 10-15 seconds to move to the next page of movies.

Would this be a skin issue, a Mediaportal issue, or a Moving Pictures issue? Perhaps it could be a drive issue (access times, fragmentation, etc). Or, a database issue? (I am just pulling at strings now, trying to get any idea of what may be causing this).

It is not so bad where it is unusable, but it definitely falls into the 'irritate the user' category, heh.

What version of the plugin are you using? What skin are you using? How many movies do you have in your collection?

Can you create an issue and provide logs?

I probably should have included that info in my original post. My apologies.

I am using the latest releases of Mediaportal as well as Moving Pictures. And as the movie collection goes...1326 movies currently in my database. All of those are stored locally, no DVDs that need to be inserted.

I am using the Black And White 1080 skin.

Before I open a ticket and provide logs, I will make sure that there is nothing wrong with my system first (possible RAM problems, HDD fragmentation, corrupt database, etc)

    Nice size collection. ;)

when you say latest version do you .75? When you load the config screen it will tell you the version you are running.

Yes, I am using version .75, and I figured out that the problem is due to CPU load being at 85% and higher. The high CPU load is due to using an integrated graphics controller (Intel 915 Express). It gets the job done just fine, but once in a while slows down a tad. Playing video is not affected, so why invest in something more? heh
