On my htpc I have an ever so subtle stutter when playing back recorded tv. I'm on a single seat setup, so there is no play over the network. Everything is local. I have installed the SAF filter pack, version 3.13.

There is a small stutter every 4-5 seconds or so. It's small but noticeble to me. Any ideas as to what the problem can be?

    Codecs or renderer.

Log files would help. You've posted enough to know that by now ;)

Try using EVR as the renderer if you haven't already and make sure Aero is enabled in Vista, per Hoborg's instructions in SAF.

Also, download graphstudio and connect to the remote graph while you are playing the recorded file from MediaPortal..... you'll need to get out of fullscreen mode in MP to do this (ALT-ENTER). Post a screenshot of graphstudio.

I have SAF, EVR and Aero setup correctly as far as I can see from the instructions.

Graphstudio.....yes.....I have never been able to get this to work. I have never been able to get a graph for some reason. I'm on Vista 32b, is that a problem for graphstudio? i have also followed Hoborgs instruction to get a graph.
