Hy
I am a great Fan of Smooth Video, yes I like the Soap Opera Effekt.
Now I've got a Problem. I've installed and configured SVP and everything seems to work fine. But sometimes when I start Live TV or switch from one HD Channel to a SD Channel or start a Movie, sometimes SVP Manager doesn't recognize that FFDShow is running and waits for FFDShow. When I Skip the Video for or backwards it recognize that FFDShow is running and makes the video or TV smooth.
Is there someone who has the same Problem?
Maybe it would help when the PostProcess kicks 1 or 2 seconds later in,but I don't know how to manage it.

Problem solved!
In the hidden settings of the SVP Manager -> SVPMgr.ini
Change this one

;Frame size and framerate detection mode, 1 - by frame grabbing or 2 - from OSD
VarChkDimAndFps=2

to this one

;Frame size and framerate detection mode, 1 - by frame grabbing or 2 - from OSD
VarChkDimAndFps=1
