Snow/grainy on PVR-500, but perfect on PVR-150 (1 Viewer)

I can confirm everything the thread wishywashy linked to says: Hauppage switched the manufacturer of the tuners from Phillips (Type A) to Samsung (Type B). Unfortunately, the new line is faulty, and they now appear to be replacing almost all of the Type B cards with a new line of Type A cards. I tried the driver update they sent, but to no avail (actually, MediaPortal now crashes immediately, even if the PVR-500 tuners are disabled entirely).

I'll update this thread once I get the replacement card.
