As we know, MyFilms is not compatible with Ant Movie Catalog 4.2. On the other hand, the latest AMC script for, the only one working to date, is not compatible with AMC 4.1 (i.e. the version which works witth MyFilms).

So here is the problem: how can we grab data for our movies from and use them in MyFilms provided that the related script only works with AMC Beta, which is not compatible with MyFilms?

I found a simple solution. It is not complicated at all, you just need two instances of AMC, but it took me a while to find this out, so I would like to share it.

    1. Download AMC Beta portable
    2. Update the script ""
    3. Open your xml movie catalog and add your movie
    4. Close AMC and open AMC 4.1 or wathever version you have which is compatible with MyFilms
    5. Open your xml catalog with AMC 4.1 and save. Do not forget this step, otherwise MyFilms will not be able to recognize the catalog.

    Done. Hope this helps.
