Hi there, after updating my ATI catalyst driver my TMP stopped working. After spending the wohle day with it, i was able to identify the problem: It seems that my hardware decoding DXVA2 is not working anymore. I´m using a AMD APU A6-3500 on Windows 7 with LAV codec. Trying to start a video with windows media player just crashes or give my strange errors. When i set hardware decoder (inside LAV settings) to : - DXVA copy back, the video starts (i can hear sound) but the screen is totaly green. - DXVA native is complety not working. - settings to None makes me able to start the playback. I also testing it out with media player classic (which is using DXVA1) works fine. Only the DXVA2 is not working anymore. By the way: It was working fine for years before. So with that problem i figure out that my "Leistungsindex" tool from windows also stopps working when trying to test media performance................. At first I loaded a lot of ATI drivers because i was thinking about a driver problem. Right now i´m totaly out of ideas.............. Maybe hardware is broken? Maybe it is a problem with my directx? Can anybody help me with this?
