[SOLVED] Database Empty (1 Viewer)

Hello

I installed my HTPC from scratch with WINDOW XP SP3 , MP 1.1.0 Beta with latest SVN and TVSeries v2.3.3538.

When I try to import I got nothing in to database. Log files states "there is nothing to update"

Delete C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\database\TVSeriesDatabase4 .db3 and try again.

hmm, then pls delete again, and post the log from the very first time you run configuration after that.

It somehow fails to create a table it seems and we need to figure out why.

also only loglevel seems to trigger the no such table warning, there are tons of acesses to that table but none of those seem to fail.

actually scratch that, it seems to acess the table before it opens the db in the first place. That seems to be a bug, but shouldnt cause anything else but that warning at the start.

so i will assume you can still change the loglevel once config is open, and ill ask you to do that, change to debug and run the import again, post that log. maybe theres a clue as to why it doesnt import anything.

Solved ! but it is strange.

While I was searching the possible causes on the forum today. I got an impression that it might be related to Windows Regional Settings. Indeed this was the cause. I changed from Turkish to English Voila ! problem solved.

I think this must be addressed in future releases

I will take a look, I remember another thread with someone saying all it takes is to change any ToLower() calls to ToLowerInvariant(). I may contact you collaborator to send you a test release.

Here is an update. I had other problems with MP itself and StreamedMP skin.

They are all solved by changing the regional settings. It seems this is not specific error related to My TV Series and it effects almost whole MP system.
