Solved:Issue with ISO files, which are read only with video player and not dvd player (1 Viewer)

Hello,

Whit the RC4 and myfilms plugin, I show dvd posters, with for one of them an iso file. When I select one of my films, the player starts. But the problem is that the ISO file is read as a simple video file (avi, mkv, ...) and not as a DVD, inserted in my virtual disk (daemon tool).

A very simple testcase:
In the mediaportal configuration/videos, I add the post-computing FFDShow. And for ffdshow, I activate the OSD (just to see if FFDShow is really used). int he mediaportal configuration/DVD, I deselect FFDShow. After, when I click of one of my posters (corresponding to an ISO file), the player starts, with... the FFDShow OSD (upper left). I can swp the settings (FFDShow deselected for Videos and selected for DVD and the result will be inverted). Each time, the player is started in video mode with my ISO files, and not as a dvd player. The problem is that I cannot access to DVD menu, subtitles, etc.

I tried with different settings about "auto mount with daemon tool", and "notification" in the daemon tool virtual device. But nothing... Still the same problem.

Where is my error? Do you have any idea about my issue?

Ok, I found my problem!

1/ First, I installed Daemon Tool (an old version - 3.44 -, because more fast to start DVD). After this install, I have a virtual drive on E:\

2/ I have to uncheck "Auto insert notification" for the device 0 (the virtual drive E:\)

3/ I have to uncheck "Auto mount" and "Auto start" in daemon tool options.

4/ I have to set the "automount using daemon tool" option and uncheck the "Ask before playing iso".

And all is fine --> ISO files are mounted in daemon tool and read with the dvd player settings (and not the video player settings). I can now use previous/next chapters, dvd menus, etc...
