(SOLVED) MP 1.6 - Configuration crash (1 Viewer)

    I have just inatlles MP 1.6 and configured it.
    Suddenly when I want to enter configuration utility I either get a windows message "program has benn closed" with no information or after restarting a .NET error as follows:

Um das JIT-Debuggen (Just-In-Time) zu aktivieren, muss in der
Konfigurationsdatei der Anwendung oder des Computers
(machine.config) der jitDebugging-Wert im Abschnitt system.windows.forms festgelegt werden.
Die Anwendung muss mit aktiviertem Debuggen kompiliert werden.

Zum Beispiel:

</configuration>

Wenn das JIT-Debuggen aktiviert ist, werden alle nicht behandelten
Ausnahmen an den JIT-Debugger gesendet, der auf dem
Computer registriert ist, und nicht in diesem Dialogfeld behandelt.


    Any ideas how to fix that?

    The last things I have done are:

    Installed German logo pack
    Installes Logomanager 0.0.0.4

    I have already removed those plugins, still no luck.

    System specs would be appreciated;)

    But I believe that your mediaportal.xml might be damaged. Do you have an older version from a backup?

    Please set your the specs up in your user profile and switch it to visible.
    I have attached a new mediaportal.xml. Just replace your current version by this one and try reconfiguring MePo.

    You no longer need this plugin. Simply use the LogoManager and run it from within MediaPortal and you're done with your logos.

Um das JIT-Debuggen (Just-In-Time) zu aktivieren, muss in der
Konfigurationsdatei der Anwendung oder des Computers
(machine.config) der jitDebugging-Wert im Abschnitt system.windows.forms festgelegt werden.
Die Anwendung muss mit aktiviertem Debuggen kompiliert werden.

Zum Beispiel:

</configuration>

Wenn das JIT-Debuggen aktiviert ist, werden alle nicht behandelten
Ausnahmen an den JIT-Debugger gesendet, der auf dem
Computer registriert ist, und nicht in diesem Dialogfeld behandelt.

    Dann ist anscheinend eine andere Konfigurationsdatei (.XML) kaputt. Schau mal unter C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal und lösche dort weitere XML-Configs, z. B. die MusicDsp.xll. Nicht die Titan.xml.

    Ok solved my problem by prure "sutpidity brute force":
    I just deleted the file musicdsp.xml - it gets re-created.

    YEAH![DOUBLEPOST=1389697568][/DOUBLEPOST]ok, danke - wie geschrieben probiert und erledigt :)

    This is where the problem comes from.
    The only thing I found is a textfile in C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\MusicPlayer\plugins\dsp\readme.txt which says "Add your DSP plugins here." ;)
    So if you do have a XML in there, try to delete it and restart MPConfig ;)
