This is where the problem comes from.

The only thing I found is a textfile in C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\MusicPlayer\plugins\dsp\readme.txt which says "Add your DSP plugins here."

So if you do have a XML in there, try to delete it and restart MPConfig
