[SOLVED] MP TV server installation Win2012R2 Essentials and BDA support (1 Viewer)

I'm aware that os is not officially supported but trying anyway...

After TV server install on Win2012R2 Essentials I can start tv server but tv cards are not available to search for channels.
Also, messages with psisdecd.dll is displayed on starting MP TV server setup.
A bit confused bcause read somewhere that 2012r2 essentials supports BDA out of box.

I pretty sure that it has to do something with BDA drivers but not sure how to install them correctly. I've done similar thing before on win2008r2 and it worked without problems.

Anyone can help or have some tips ?

No log files.

I'd bet BDA is missing even though I can't prove it without log files. I've seen some posts say that 2012r2 essentials includes BDA support, but I've also seen that in practice people have found it isn't installed.

So, my tip is install BDA. I think the 2008 package works for 2012.

Downloaded package from http://www.win2008workstation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=2499.
There were some errors thrown when installing BDA (permissions) but took care of them using takeown and cacls.

After that everything seems fine.
