SOLVED: MyTV picture stretched and only left half viewable (1 Viewer)

Synopsis::

I put together a new pc. Installed and configured MediaPortal. When I go to MyTV ... I get a picture, but the image is stretched and I can only see about the left half of the picture. (Still need to install web browser plugin, but first want to get the tv working ... so ignore the first 2 errors (unless it may cause my problem?))

UPDATE: Since I have the 500 - dual tuner card, I had mapped all channels to both tuners. On Tuner 1, I took Channel 2 and put it back in the available column. So Tuner 2, is the only tuner with Channel 2. I ran MediaPortal, image is stretched (Channel 5). I switched to Channel 2, and now the image is fine. As long as I switch to Channel 2 first, I can switch to any other channel and the image is fine. Otherwise the image is "stretched". (Since both tuners are mapped to the same channel, are they "sharing the image"?)

My new question is: What is the correct way to map channels on a dual tuner? I really don't want to split up the channels and only have 1 tuner responsible for channels 1 - 50 and 1 tuner for 51-99. To me that doesn't make sense since Tuner 1 may be recording Channel 2 and I want to watch Channel 4.

I applied the latest CVS and it is still an issue. I also uninstalled my TV card and re-installed with the latest drivers from hauppauge. I reconfigured and added all channels to card1 and card2. When I went to MyTV, everything seemed like it was back to normal. I recorded a show, while watching another show. Worked like a champ. After the show was done recording, I went and watched the show I recorded. Again, image was normal. When the show was done, I went back to MyTV and the image is once again "stretched". Seems like possibly the 2 tuners are "sharing" the same image? Not sure if that is possible, but it would explain why I only see the left half of the show.

UPDATE: Seems like I have an issue with card1. I removed a channel from card1 and I removed a different channel from card2. When I view the channel, that only card1 has ... the image is "stretched". When I view the channel, that only card2 has ... the image is "normal". Any suggestions? Drivers have been updated on both tuners ... verified that they are the same.

Bad Tuner

Problem turned out to be an issue with Tuner 1. I called Hauppauge and sent in my 500 and they sent a new one back. Installed and it is now working fine.
