The sequence of events was pretty basic, but probably unusual:

• Wife notices that Pandora Plugin no longer works; error msg indicates that an upgrade is needed.
• When Installing updated Pandora Musicbox, plugin warns that MP must be upgraded.
• Updatd plugin errors out (or course) under MP 1.1.3 with the sad trombone.
• I download MP 1.2.0 and do an upgrade install.
• Everything appears perfect except for a few movie covers missing in the Videos library (no biggie)
• OOPS! Nothing I do can make the TV tuner work. I always get the "No free card available" error when starting TV.

MediaPortal thinks that the channel is scrambled. Do you have a CAM?

There is an option you may need to tick against your tuner to tell MediaPortal that a CAM is attached (there were some card allocation changes in 1.2.0). You can find the option in the tv setup. Click the computer name (the parent node of the listed tuners). On this screen I think you can highlight the tuner and there should be a button for "Configuration". The option for the CAM is on this dialog.
