I have a singleseat (server and client) and it works perfectly. The problem is with my client PC placed in an other room. ATSC channel change works flawlessly. It's the channel change from the Hauppauge Colossus that doesn't work correcly from the client side only. I see in the screen that my server blast the channel but.... the client hangs (sound and video). The only way it works is when i go back 1,5,15 or 30 sec after the server blast the STB.
Does someone can help me solve this PITA problem ? thanks a lot !

    here's my log

    Re: Unable to change channel

    Hi kilik360

Could you post the corresponding logs from the server too please - I think this issue is probably very time-critical and I need the server logs to see exactly when the stream is starting/ready.

    1. Open TV Server configuration.
    2. Click "open log directory" in the top left corner.
    3. Zip up all the files in there and post them here.

UPDATE: I found where the problem was. It's a problem between MediaPortal and my STB (SA4250HD). It occurs only when my STB Audio Option is set to ''Dolby Digital''. When I choose the option ''other'' (AAC) instead of ''Dolby Digital'',Channel change works like charm. I dont know if i've put you on a good track to solve the problem, but i'm open to test any suggestion to have my ''Dolby Digital'' sound back to my MP client.

@mm135200: UNC is a good alternative to solve my ''Dolby Surround channel change problem''but the lack of RecordedTV makes me go back to RTSP.

thanks in advance for any of help.
