Hello,
This week I've installed MP, the most things work actually quite good
But one thing is driving me crazy.... I use MP also for TV, my TV signal is coming from a satellite. Some channels are working nice, but other channels are bad, these channels are always the same. I'll list my channels here, with the status behind:
Ned 1: Good
Ned 2: Good
Ned 3: Good
RTL 4: Bad
RTL 5: Bad
RTL 7: Bad
RTL 8: Bad
Veronica : Good
NET 5: Good
Discovery channel: Bad
Animal Planet: Bad
National Geographic: Good
Probably you don't need this list, but it gives you an idea. As you can see, that's about 50%. I think it's kind of weird that this is not happening to all my channels. I removed my virus scanner and other stuff which may cause this problem.
One thing that strikes me, is that the CPU and GPU utilization is different. On the good channels the usage is about 10 - 20% for the CPU and 62% GPU. The bad channels show interesting stuff: The CPU usage is about the same, but the GPU drops from 60% to 30% and returns to 60% (mostly closer to 30%). This may look like a codec problem but i tried deferent codec’s with no result...
Any ideas?
