Sky Germany, DD hardware with 2 tuners and CI module. Tested using DeltaCam and latest Python firmware. Pretty sure MaxCam shows same behavior.

    Start MP
Tune to Sky Cinema HD: works.
    Start Recording Sky Cinema HD.
Tune to Sky Hits HD: works
Try tune to FOX HD: fails -> No signal
Tune to Sky Cinema HD: works.
    Stop recording
    Tune to FOX HD: works

Why can't I decrypt FOX HD along with Sky Cinema HD? I think Sky Hits HD and Sky Atlantic HD can't be decrypted together with FOX HD either. Is that a transponder issue? Is it a limitation of my unicable setup?

@mm1352000 More logs for you I'm afraid :)

    Hello again

Sorry, I have no idea what is wrong here. All I can see is the driver output in the system event log:
    "31/07/2014 22:58:21";"DDTuner";"(0)";"Information";"Device 210:b0000 Tune failure DVBS filter 2";"1074266233"

    ...and TV Server log says:
[2014-07-31 22:58:23,363] [Log ] [32 ] [INFO ] - dvb: LockInOnSignal could not lock onto channel - no signal or bad signal

When you try to tune Fox HD the first time it is with tuner 4 (DD tuner 2); when you try again and succeed it is with tuner 3 (DD tuner 1). Maybe there is some issue with unicable and your tuner 4, because I can see more failures for Fox HD and Hustler TV (EPG grabbing) with that tuner in the system event log:
    "31/07/2014 22:56:16";"DDTuner";"(0)";"Information";"Device 210:b0000 Tune failure DVBS filter 2";"1074266233"
    "31/07/2014 22:42:39";"DDTuner";"(0)";"Information";"Device 210:b0000 Tune failure DVBS filter 2";"1074266233"
    "31/07/2014 22:40:38";"DDTuner";"(0)";"Information";"Device 210:b0000 Tune failure DVBS filter 2";"1074266233"
    "31/07/2014 22:40:12";"DDTuner";"(0)";"Information";"Device 210:b0000 Tune failure DVBS filter 2";"1074266233"
    "31/07/2014 22:26:49";"DDTuner";"(0)";"Information";"Device 210:b0000 Tune failure DVBS filter 2";"1074266233"

In fact it looks like approximately 10% of your tune requests since 15/07 are failing. About 60% are tuner 3 failing; the other 40% is tuner 4.

These things are outside TV Server's control...

    Regards,
    mm

    [edit: One more thing...
Just to be clear, when the tuner fails to lock on signal that is not a decrypt failure. The tuner must lock on signal before we can even try to ask it to decrypt a channel.]

Thanks that's what I thought. So it must be a unicable issue. My unicable is working for some channels but not all of them.
    Fox HD: http://en.kingofsat.net/detail-foxde-hd.php
Sky Hits HD: http://en.kingofsat.net/find.php?question=Sky hits hd germany&Submit=Zap
Sky Cinema HD: http://en.kingofsat.net/find.php?question=sky cinema hd germany&Submit=Zap

Hits and Cinema are both Astra 1N where Fox is Astra 1KR.
Something in the tuning parameters must mean that some channel combination don't work with unicable.
I still understand little of that sat cabling mess.
I guess I could try with a different LNB cable at some point. I think I still have a spare one coming in the living room.
