Having said that, this is interesting enough...

    Hi guys,

Now with debug log setting from client. Same version on both server and client.

Same thing. I tv does not work. stop and play a recording. Afterwards tv works again. Funny thing though. I accidently chose "resume" recording instead of chosing "play from beginning". That time going back to tv did NOT work. Went back and played the recording from the beginning this time. Now tv works..... Dont know if it was just a coincident?

    /Jacob

I can't tell why it's happening, but there seems to be a problem with accessing/deleting timeshift buffer files:

i.e. it's trying to delete buffer files that are actually the current 'live' files TsWriter is trying to write to....

    What's your system setup ?
How many clients do you have etc. and how are they connected ? Do they all use UNC paths for TV ?

hmmm. I actually noticed that mpextended sometimes leaves .ts files even though the client has disconnected. Could that cause a problem?

Im only use one client otherwise which is using UNC. When the problem occurs with the UNC client im still able to use Ampdroid for tv on my tablet

Next time it happens, before you stop TV (because that will delete the buffer files), take a look in the timeshift folder on the server and find out what files are in there.

. I actually noticed that mpextended sometimes leaves .ts files even though the client has disconnected. Could that cause a problem?

The 'The process cannot access the file' error messages in the log are probably because another process has somehow left them locked or open in a non-shared mode. TsReader.ax opens them 'shared' to avoid that potential problem. I don't know what MPExtended does.
