I just rebuilt my HTPC and did a clean install of Windows and Mediaportal. Everything is working fine so far, but I have one minor annoyance that I just can't seem to figure out. I sort my music in folders, basically named in the convention of "Artistname - Album". On my last setup I could scroll to a folder and press play, then scroll to another folder, press play, etc...
Now when I scroll to a folder and press play on my MCE remote, MP navigates into that folder, so I have to go back to get into the root directory again. This doesn't work so well when I only use the LCD display on my case for navigation. I want to be able to play an album (folder) and stay in the root directory.
I know it has to be a simple setting. "Treat folders as albums" was unticked, so I ticked that, but it doesn't make a difference.
