Currently tv-series appears to use a case sensitive sorting algorithm.
Would it be possible to make this not case sensitive?
I've got 3 series starting with a lower case character, which are now on the top line.

    thx in advance :D

Hmm, that's interesting. Are you sure lower case are at the top though and not the bottom? Assuming SQLite sorts acc. to the ASCII table it should be upper case before lower case.

This may also be why jPod is at the bottom of the list for me, this has made me wonder for a while now, but apparently not enough to look into it. This would also confirm its Upper before Lower Cases.

    Can you confirm?

    thx for your reply

I'll take a screenshot of it as soon as possible, but currently I'm reinstalling the mediacenter.

I've got 4 flemish series which start with a lower case character, and 3 of them are on top.
These are the exact strings shown in My TvSeries:
"alles kan beter", "de neveneffecten" (listed as "Neveneffecten" on thetvdb.com), "in de ban van urbanus", "de parelvissers"
I find it strange that "de parelvissers" is the only one shown inline (in between CSI NY and Deadwood).
Also these 4 series don't load their banner from thetvdb.com (it's left empty).
My other flemish series start with an uppercase and their banner gets loaded.

I use the latest svn build of MP1 and the latest version of MyTVSeries with Indigo as the skin (default xml files).
My TVSeries is configured to download the Dutch information from thetvdb.

Pls let me know if I can do anything that could help you.
Maybe this could partially be solved by uppercasing the first character of the serie, when downloading it from thetvdb.com?

    :edit:
I think my 1TB disk, holding all my series, just gave up on me... I probably won't be able to take a screenshot soon.

After 2 days of hard work I got my harddisk to work again.
It seems like XP SP1 rewrote the MBR of both my 1TB dynamic disks... (SP1 supports only up to 136GB for dynamic disks)

I did a full reinstall of the OS and MediaPortal, and now my series are imported correctly.
This is what I did different this time:
    - I used MP1 RC1 without installing SVN-updates
    - I configured MP-TV Series to download "episode thumbnails" and "blank series and season banners" (import settings -> online data sync)
    - I filled in my TheTVDB.com account-ID

I have "seaQuest DSV" listed at the bottom of the list too for ages now. I assumed it was because the sorting was case-sensitive.

Not much of a problem for me, but it would be nice to have it by the other S's, lol
