I have taken the plunge a week or two back and moved the TVserver to the media server PC in the attick (TVserver version 1.0). I now have also updated the MPclient in the living to MP 1.0 on a fresh XP pro SP3 install. I consider this is a considerable step towards the ideal media center set-up, BUT: I'm left over with a very nasty problem... When I start TV, stop it and start it again there is only sound, no image. A simple restart of the MPclient (application not computer) solves the issue. This is 100% repeatable. The MPclient version 1.0.0.0 RC3 that I still have on my office machine and which uses the same TVserver does not show this behaviour. Logs attched. Please help me demonstrate to my family that all the time I spend installing, updating, configuring and debugging MP actually improves the system rather than just introduces new issues :( VdR TV-Server Version: 1.0 MediaPortal Version: 1.0 MediaPortal Skin: MP Gold 1366x768 1.0 Windows Version: XP professional SP3 CPU Type: Intel P4 530 3.0 GHz HT (S775) HDD: WD 500 GB SATA 7200 RPM + 3x WD USB2.0 500 GB (on remote server) Memory: 1 GB (2 x 512 MB) Hynix DDR400 Dual Channel Motherboard: ASUS PTGD-LR Video Card: ATI Radeon X300SE 128 MB Video Card Driver: Sound Card: Realtek Intel High Definition Audio (7.1) 24 bits / 96 kHz Sound Card AC3: S/Pdif coaxial to Logitech Z5500 Sound Card Driver: 1.
