UNFORTUNATELY, now I have a similar problem with video playback. When I stop a video (video_ts playback from HDD) the whole PC crashes. This is repeatable, this does not happen with VMR. I guess the warning about EVR on XP is there for a reason.</p><p></p><p>VdR</p><p></p><p>PS</p><p>So the solution is: 'when wanting to watch TV, exit MP, start configuration, select EVR, exit, start MP. When wanting to watch a DVD, exit MP, start configuration, select VMR9, exit, start MP'. Doesn't quite beat 'press the play button on the DVD player ...'. Problably won't get away with this with my family. Still looking for a solution.</p><p></p><p>PPS</p><p>If I wanted this attached to the previous mail, I would edit that one.
