Hi guys,

I have two Leadtek DTV1000S cards in my PC, but I don't think this problem is specifically related to the PC itself. Previously, I had a STB which would, from time to time, have blocks of about 10 seconds in recordings or live TV where there would be no sound at all - picture would be OK, though.

Now, with MediaPortal, I'm getting similar occasional moments - but rather than having no sound for 10 seconds or so, the sound has a "blip", then goes down to nothing, but gradually increases back to the current volume setting. I'm guessing this is being caused by whatever was causing my sound drop-outs on the STB.

Does anyone else have issues similar to this? Is it just likely to be caused by a stutter in reception, or something else?

Cheers,
Craig
