Sound problem, No sound in music or movies (1 Viewer)

I got some strange problem, no sound at all from Mediaportal. If I play a movie direct from wmp it works fine and the same with music. But when I try to do it with Mediaportal everything starts up fine but no sound.
I got a fresh 1.2.2 and shark007 codec pc run win7 32-bit, this setting works like a charm at my laptop, with no problem.
Anyone out there who can help me, I´m lost

Could it be that MP is muted?

To check this:
Open MePo in window mode -> Play a music file or a movie -> Open volume mixer in windows taskbar

Have the MP Developer Team a Patch for this Problem.
Its a an old Problem. Not only in MP 1.2.3. Same Problem in MP 1.2.2.

I do have the samre problem, after I have just updated from MP 1.5.0 to MP 1.6.0, but MP is NOT muted in those audio settings.
But there is no audio when using MP, neither for live TV, nor for recorded videos. All system souns and WMP videos do work with sound.
I installed MP with all the general settings.
Any help would be much appreciated!

UPDATE: After ANOTHER restart, MP suddenly did show up as mutet in those audio settings - was defenitely not the case before! Now all is well again
