The reason I am asking this is because the general perception seems to be that the hardware encoding on the card isn't great - not to mention the limited resolutions available (SD at best, I'm really looking for something that can record 1280x720). 2) Can the COMPRO card detect the component signal output form the HD-PVR? Or will I be forced to use composite?3) If COMPRO is not the route to go, are there any other brands available in SA that will accept a component input?Much appreciate the feedback</blockquote>
