Speed of the MediaPortal Menu very slow (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I've installed Mediaportal for testing and the speed of the Madiaportal menu seems to be extrem slow. When changing the active Menu Icon, it freezes for 5 to 10 seconds.
The same problems appears when using the Mediaportal configuration. Changing the page page needs almost 10 seconds.

What can I do to solve this problem? I don't believe that my pc configuration is to slow, it should be running as well.

MediaPortal 1.0.2 is NOT fully compatible with Win 7. You can get it to work properly, but it's a bit tricky. On Win 7 it's highly recommended to use 1.1 Beta with latest SVN. The speed of the new version is much faster than the old one... But that's just one of many improvements.


BTW. do you use Single- or Multiseat environment?. On Multiseat the search for TVServer is slowing down the program a bit. Especially if you change to menu items witch includes some TV related functions like the "Plugins" tab on config. This is normal and no reason to worry about. In all day use you won't notice that to much.

I'll try the latest beta version. What do you mean with the latest "SVN"?

Actually I don't use a multi- but the singleseat environment. That might not be the problem.
