It seems my picture viewing lags and i get spurts of speed then it slows down requireing many butten presses just to view one picture.

Ive got all the settings at 0 or as low as they go for transistions ect. It helps but it seems MP can't keep up the speed if i want to zoom though my picture viewing.

Wondering if you could cache pictures in memory or atleast have an option. People have lot sof ram these days. Maybe 50 foward and 50 rear cached or maybe set aside 20 megs or so for the cacheing of how many files 20 megs caches !!!

Just find it anoying as Irfanview just zooms though picture viewing as fast as i can push the buttun even loads new picture before the last oen is finished to me thinks.

Thanks all.

Perhaps use the service template to tell us about ur system specs.

Simply saying something sucks, demanding it be *fixed* with three exlamation marks right there in the title might not be the best way to get people motivated to help you.

After some extensive research during the past couple of hours I finally found the template for you. Its at the top of the forum, stuck there and it's title reads: "Announcement: READ THIS: Software Support Template"

Just a co-incidence, but he is starting to sound a lot like Paul Mathews. And they are both using identical IP ranges, *zing...

Yes, I thought his attitude was annoyingly familiar....

I don't understand why he refuses to post his configuration (via the support template) because there is clearly some thing odd with his setup - I can change photos as fast as I can press the right arrow button on my remote - no delay here...

Taipan, I think you answered in your own question :)
