I can understand if he was just hiding it, with my current SVN and my HTPC's stable the indicator is spinning all the time, it never stops.
I removed it aswell.

Yes this is the reason.
But i have not tryed it for a while, maybe its working better now.
I will try it on my system and see if its working better. In that case, i too think it would look nice to have left of the "Tv-Series".

I know the "spinning wheel of death" is kinda annoying right now. I'm still unsure as to why exactly, but it'll get fixed.

imo i think is better if the indicator is left hidden for the time untill Inker fix it.

Think its something about the custom logos. I havent bothered looking at that function yet..

- inker: custom logos - define rules to display any logo based on the current item (network logo, hd logo, etc.)

Was possible allready in the 0.9.5 release.

1.jpg is when you havent watched the show so the plot is headen and the logos look just great.

But 2.jpg is when you have watched the show and the plot is shown then the logos overlap in some way with the plot.

This screenshot have been taken from 4:3 monitor with 1280x958 resolution.

I don't really know if there is somewhere else to place them but maybe you can have a look when you have time to.

WOW...i have not seen this pictures before. Will activate this atonce...looks great.

You need to define rules that can be met by the selected items, and a custom image file to be used as the logo. In the example above I think he used a rule to say if vid resolution is above x display this jpg, if no of audio channels > 5 display the 5.1 logo and based on the network display a <network>.jpg.
