Are you planning a Last.fm screen?
At the moment when I choose that plugin, I get a blank screen.

Also, I am running the current 'stable' release of MP 0.2.2.0 (I think) and am hesitant to use the daily snapshots as I don't think the family would tolerate it when things went wrong.

With that being said,

In the My Music, Now Playing screen:

On the first song:
The album cover art displays in the larger 'visualization' window.

When the next song plays, the cover art displays to the right of the large window (where it should be), but when the image changes, the visualization is also in the small cover art window..... the larger visualization window is now just black.

Is this due to my not running the most current snapshot?

If so, why not have 2 versions of your skin?
The older 'stable' version ofr the stable version of MP
And the new 'beta' version.....

This screen is implimented, and it should work with the stable release.
I dont know what the issue could be.

This issue has been mention before by Koschel and last i remeber he/her was planing to take this with the dev. But i dont know if this has been solved in SVN.

Yes this could be i good idea, but i think it would be quite hard. It would then be one more skins to update. But i will think about this. It not a bad idea.

Minor problem. When in 'My Music' > 'Now Playing'... Clicking on 'Other Tracks Tagged With:' or 'Top Album Tracks', (right or left) the expected pop up dialog does not appear. There is a shadow of a dialog box but no functionality.

1) MyMusic - Playlist dont'work (is impossible to load personal playlist)
2) Myfilms plugin - the display is confused

That's a really good question. On reflection, maybe it is not supposed to appear. I have noticed a number of places in MyMusic where this "phantom" dialog box appears. I will test this with another skin and post the results.

Setup > Setup Wizard > Remote Control... Next button does not work.

2) In My Films, I can't use Strip view because the selected item box is also partially off screen (see screenshot below)

First. Tanks for posting this on the SpinSafe Bugtracker. You are the first one to do that

Second. I have tested this, i could not test it with a widescreen CRT, but i have tested it on my widescreen laptop and followed the Steps you decribed and the big preview cover seemed to follow as it should (could not see everything as it where outside the screen).
I have hard to see this problem to be skin related.
One thing you could do is to mod the filmstrip control in references.xml for youre needs.

Who know it might come a 4:3 version that fixes this for you some day

Thanks a lot, I'll try to modify the references.xml to fit my needs. But do you think this is a skin issue, or is it related toMediaPortal itself?
