mimo_424: I'm guessing you're using a CRT widescreen TV using SVHS TV out from your computer in 1024x768? I'm having the same issues. This is not an error with the skin, but a bug within MediaPortal itself. Some objects just aren't affected by UI calibration.

Edit: See this thread: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/objects_not_affected_ui_calibration-t22424.html
Be sure to point out that you're truly suffering from this. :D

Wel, iam using a LCD tv thats connected to the pc throw HDMI/DVI, thats why iam having these overscan issues, 1:1 mapping can be achieved with VGA connection though something iam planing to use in future ;), and regarding that bug i suppose it affects other type of tvs the same way

Still, you need to point it out too, so the coders realize it's an issue for many people.

Having issues with 0.8.2 on a 1920x1080 res screen. Right on the start screen there is a random huge 1 on the top right of the screen. Switching to other screens such as recorded TV and myTV still shows this also shows the details of the program too big and going out the bottom of the screen. Lowering to a res suich as 1360x768 doesn't exhibit this problem.

Have it worked in other versions and svns?

I dont have a 1080 screen...yet;) , so i dont think i will find a solution for this. But if you want you could change the values of the clock control in common.time.xml (basichome, home screen and some others) and common.window.xml ( mymovies, mymusic and others) and share you result with us, so it may be included in next version.
I added this bug to the bugtracker.

Yes, exactly like that screengrab. It was fine on the version 8.1 prior to the latest.

    Hey all!

First off I want to thank mirk for making the best skin I've seen so far for MP. I've had no problem with it. The only thing I'm currently wondering about is why menu looks just like the "default" one. I've looked all over the place for some setting where I can make it spinning, but no lock yet.

    Thanks for you effort!

Are you using the latest SVN builds? If you're using the stable build of MP it won't work I'm afraid.

Thanks for such a quick reply!

At the download page it said that the latest stable build was supported too, but I guess I'll just change to SVN then. I was just wondering if there was some obvious "duh"-thing that I had missed.

Well, there is one "duh"-thing that you might wanna check: if you are in Basic Home screen or default Home screen. Things to do...

    • Press H button on keybord to switch from one to the other.
    • Check in your settings in General if you start in Basic Home Screen
