Updated today to 0.8.3, and am now unable to load MP with this skin (fine with all others)
In the log I am getting the following endlessly repeated
"
2007-05-18 04:46:13.734375 [Info.][MPMain]: GUIWindowManager: Could not find window 0"

Any clues, thanks in advance

Have you deleted the "SpinSafe Revolve" folder in the "Cache" folder placed in mediaportals root directory?

That was quick!

I had actually deleted the files in the "SpinSafe Revolve" folder in cache, nt the folder itself. Deleted the folder and all woks perfectly thanks.

Love the new album cover view - fantastic.

This skin looks so good, I am going to let my wife have a go, it is so intuitively simple to navigate, even she won't be able to complain.

As I'm new to both MP and this skin, I have a couple of questions which I'm not sure if they're due to the skin, MP or my own ignorance.

First, is there any way to inverse the stepping on the basic homescreen? If I start out on My TV and want to move to My Music (which is located to the right of My TV), I want to use the right arrow on my keyboard (I'm not using any remote), but this actually moves the My TV icon to the right, making it feel like I'm moving to the left. Is there any way to make it work that when I press the right arrow, the icons move to the left?

Second, a question regarding My Music and the thumbnails. I currently have my music library in the following order on my computer: <Artist>/<Album>/<Track>. When I get the thumbnails for an album, they are place in that albums folder which is fine. But if I want to have an overview of all my artists and their albums with tumbnails, this is not possible it would seem. If I go to My Music (with the Filmstrip layout) I only see the name of the artist without any thumbnails. I have to go down one level to see the albums of that artist and thus the thumbnails. Is there any way to display all albums with the thumbnails that I've missed or do I have to reorganize my file structure on the computer and place all albums on the same level to make this work?

Regardless of my questions, I just have to say that this is one awesome skin! It looks just gorgeous, so props to you mirk, well done indeed!

Sorry its hardcoded in the skinfile. And its VERY much work to change it.
In the begining of the development i got 2 versions of the basic homescreen but when the basic homescreen got mor and more advanced it was to much work to maintain both versions. For me the most natural was to make the weel spin in the direction that i pressed on the remote, like i was spinning it with my hand So i did go with that.

If you add the music files to the database you can sort them as you want.
Just go to the root folder that contans all youre music files, and bring up the context menu and select scan. This will add all files to the database.
Then you can choose in my music what ever listings you want.
If the view/listings you want to have does´t exist, you can go to the setup utillity program and choose Music->Music Views choose new.. in the dropdownlist. Then create you own view in the grid below.
My defoult view looks like this

title                              List

This will first show my albums in a filmstrip style. Then when i choose one i get all the titles in a listview.

Hope this binged some light to you problem.

I dont realy have support for MyFilms at all. The reason for this is that i have problems setting up this plugin.
