SQL server 2005 SP3 (1 Viewer)

Just noticed today that SP3 of SQL express is available on windows update. Is it recommended to update to this version for whatever reason?

Has anybody had problems with Mediaportal after updating to it?

After the update I can't connect to the server anymore. Preview on the Server works...
