TV-Server Version: RC2
MediaPortal Version: RC2
MediaPortal Skin: Aeon Wide
Windows Version: XP
1. TV Card: Happauhe HVR-4000
MPEG2 Video Codec: Cyberlink
MPEG2 Audio Codec: MPA
h.264 Video Codec: CoreAVC 1.6

I have big stability problems. When changing channels i have about 30% chance that the TV Server Service will stop or hang. This is very frustrating. I have enclosed the logs from the TV Server log catalog. Could someone please help me. I love MP - but the using it for TV watching is frustrating.

    Hi!

Do you use EPG Grabbing while idle? If so, please try without any EPG grabbing. For me it solves several problems ...

... edit ... sorry EPG should not be your problem (your log shows no EPG Error) ... maybe it's the not supported plugin (in this forum you shouldn't post logs including these plugin, and of course you'll get no answer ;-) )

Hi, did you manage to fix this issue?

I've recently done a reinstall and I get this a lot when viewing DVB-T channels, and in some cases it will just happen by itself without changing channels.

    Thanks

Sounds like my problem too, but not that often like 30%, i would say on my case 5-10%
PC hangs so badly that i have to do power button reboot.
My paychannels hangup also every time around 30-60min of watching. Those I can usually clear by swithcing the channels back and forth.
Sometimes i miss sound totally when i go to channel, fixing this i have to do switching the channel trick also.
