    MediaPortal Version: latest svn
    MediaPortal Skin: BlueTwo
    Windows Version: XP sp2

I have two files in folder:
    movie-cd1.avi
    movie-cd2.avi

It is shown as movie.avi in the gui which is ok. However when I press play nothing happens.
I found out that GUIDialogFileStacking is displayed but it is invisible, so you need to press enter twice to play the movie.
Note that in order to reproduce this bug you need to select movie you haven't seen, otherwise this dialog is not displayed and there is no problem.

    Now fixed in SVN.
    Mr Hipp

I can confirm that this bug is fixed in the BlueTwo skin. However, I have been testing a LOT after upgrading to 0.2.3.0 RC2 + latest SVN (2007-09-20) from RC1, and at least on my system I get the stacking error on all tested skins except from the BlueTwo skin. I've tested with Revision, Foofaraw, Spinsafe Revolve and Xface - all latest versions - and with all these skins I get the stacking problem. I had to run MP in window to find out what was really going on. When I press "enter" on a stacked video, MP seems to hang with the window title showing "Filestacking dialogue". Pressing enter twice DOESN'T help for me. The only way to exit this dialogue is to either exit MP, or to press the "Home" button in the MP menu (mouse). As I said, the only working skin is Bluetwo.

Could you please recheck the code? It seems something has been changed in either RC2 or one of the nightly builds.

Btw I think it's enough to copy dialogFileStacking.xml from blue two. You might want try that.

Thanks Mt Hipp. I tried that and it worked for all the skins I mentioned in my previous post. Looks a bit strange on some skins, but it works 100%.

Yes, at the moment it's hardcoded.
