I seem to be having a problem with stacked shows. I can play almost everything fine, but when I try to play a video split in to two parts, MediaPortal just seems to hang.

As en example. If I have a video that is split up as such:
video-CD1 - 700MB
video-CD2 - 700MB

it will appear in media portal as
video 1.4GB

when I attempt to play it, nothing happens. Again, I can play othetr things fine. Also if I rename one of the files removing the -cdx part, the parts play fine.

So two questions. One, am I alone in this behavior? Two, is there a way to turn the stacking of videos off?

Thanks

In Title view, MP will assume the videos are stacked, but if it is in iso, doesn't know how to play them... (I'm thinking this issue is being worked on)

In Shares view, you should be able to see each Movie individually as separate files.

My eventual solution was to combine the two movie files together into one using a third party Program (such as DVDFab) but it compresses the combined file to fit up to 10 GB size. On my TV I wouldn't see the difference anyway.

    Hi,

I have no problems with stacked videos. Please try another skin (best would be the default skin BlueTwo). If you hit enter on a stacked movie, a dialog should appear. In this dialog you can select, which part should be played. You also could try hitting enter twice, with a short pause between. Perhaps the dialog is just invisible...

    Flip.
