Interested in this, sounds like what i want to do.
Is runmodule in batch mode the best way to do it? Might try this out. What doesn't load if you don't make explorer load? You mention sound and graphics drivers, so you have to make it load each driver?
Also can you upload your customized login + bootscreens? I'm using one from the download section here for the bootsplash + windows loading, however a 640x480 image won't look all that nice on the login screen.
