Standalone iPimp install? (1 Viewer)

Can't seem to fine any info on this but wondering if it's possible to install iPimp on a powerful machine that doesn't have TVserver or the MP client installed?

I have a grunty 2003 server machine that I'd like to use for the handbrake encoding instead of my medicore TVserver machine...

No is the short answer. The iPiMP component which does the transcoding is a TV server plugin -- so needs TV server to run.

I would like to be able to do a dedicated web server setup without having MediaPortal installed. This way I can use the WOL functions from my server that is up 24/7. I don't seem to be able to do that with the current release?
