I had been using this package for probably years now, but recently had some problems with windows, so on a wipe and rebuild started again.

I have 2 drives, each has a TV1 and a TV 2 folder, so an example of stargate would be like this

    H:\TV2\Stargate SG1\Stargate SG1 Season 1\S01E03 - name of episode.avi

Previously importing was no issue, but this time round it simply says parsing failed for this season and several others that all used to work.

I do not have a copy of the parsing expressions but then I never ever modified the defauld noes?

Also I cannot for the life of me find out what expressions can be used, how to do your own etc?

Look at the sticky thread on exchange of parsing expressions, the one for "show\season\episode" is in there somewhere near the end.

Or use a renaming tool such as the ReNamer to add the show name very quickly to all your filenames, so you get "Stargate SG1 - S01E03 - name of episode.avi" results, which is supported by default.
